Our Journey's Mission
Our Journey, Inc. will provide assistance to families and especially orphaned children of Africa who live in remote, impoverished regions. Volunteers will provide for the physical and emotional well-being of these families and children whose lives have been decimated by HIV/AIDS.
Our Journey, Inc. will:
- Provide school uniforms and educational supplies for children so they may attend school
- Provide pre-school and after-school programs for children
- Sponsor opportunities for local people to receive formal, early-childhood educational training
- Provide blankets and clothing for families
- Help to feed the starving children in Africa by supporting local people to establish community and school gardens
- Assist other non-profit organizations with programs

Our Journey, Inc. is a non-profit organization currently working in South Africa and Zimbabwe with Zimele, a community-based program emphasizing self-reliance for families and children decimated by AIDS. In 2010, Our Journey will also be working with the street children in Kenya.
